Tesla is no longer limited to making its cars with one engine or two.
As a new model, the Model S is now able to go up to four cylinders, making it one of the first luxury sedans to offer a five-cyliler engine.
The new model is priced at $6.2,000 and features a 2-liter, four-stroke four-barrel four-cam inline four-pot, delivering 425 hp and 456 lb-ft of torque.
The price has increased to $7,000, but the car is available to buy today for $6K.
The engine’s displacement is 5.5 liters and it is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, but it comes with an option for a seven-speed automatic.
The four-speed auto is available for $1,000 or $1.2K, with the option for the automatic option at $1K.
